NASHVILLE, Tenn. --
Search crews on Wednesday afternoon located the body of a white female in
the Duck River, according to Maury County Sheriff Enoch George.
The sheriff said he believes it is the body of Lindsay Sale-Tinney, 55, a
Columbia woman who has been missing for almost two weeks.
Authorities have sent the body to the office of the state medical
examiner to make a positive identification.
Sale-Tinney's car was abandoned by a bridge on Old Sowell Mill Pike on
March 27. The body was found a mile from that location.
Police do not suspect foul play in the case.
The missing woman's family said she had some complications from surgery
and was on several medications.
