  Red Cross and Nashville K-9 Offering Pet First Aid Class

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (August 24, 2009) --        If you missed out last time, the Nashville Area Red Cross is partnering with Nashville K-9 in offering a second Pet First Aid course designed specifically for dog owners.

Pet First Aid for dogs will teach pet owners how to react to a wide range of potential ailments or emergencies and include topics such as creating a pet first aid kit, providing basic wound care, and maintaining your dog’s health and well-being.

“This course will not only educate the new and seasoned pet owners, but also give some basic knowledge on how to recognize and care for emergencies, illness and injuries in dogs,” said Ali Hemyari, Owner, Nashville K-9.
